The Queens Lighted Softball Association, a/k/a QLSA (formerly the Empire Softball Association – Founded in 1995) changed its’ name in 2008. The league is dedicated to the promotion of softball. Our mission is to create and provide for our members of all ages and skill levels, opportunities to play softball for their enjoyment, for their improvement, and for the dignity of the game in an atmosphere in which players support and respect each other. We encourage and expect our members and players to respect their opponents, coaches, managers, and umpires and to exhibit good sportsmanship and fair play. Our organization is dependent upon commitment and dedication of many volunteers, and we deal with one another with courtesy and mutual respect.
