On behalf of the Spartans would like to thank Richie for taking the time out to organize THE BEST league in the 5 boroughs. My Spartans formally known as the Outlaws and I are looking forward to making an attempt to steal the Silver Rings and sit on the throne. There are aloy of well respected teams and either way it will be a great time. God Bless and good luck. Manager and Captain of the Spartans #98 Gio-Warrior
Jay, I agree, he really would have been proud, but I don't think he missed the game, I truly believe that for what the Indains accomplished and how they did it, going though #1 seed Finest, #2 Seed Primetime and #3 Seed Kings of Corona, he was the sub on the end of the Indians bench with the #28 jersey marked "Angel CM". Wow what a great season for the Tribe!!! RR
Jon, Thanks for those words, you are so right it is a thankless job and you can never make all happy, but at least you get it!!!. Bucs played those Allstars tough last night, entering record books as playing the longest playoff game, but the scale tilted in Allstar favor in extra innings in GM1 and the bottom of the 7th in GM2, what a great consolation final playoff series. Congrates to the Bucs as well as the Allstars. RR
Thanks Pete for taking the time to pass through the Guestbook. Yes, it was a tough go back in 2008 as the QLSA almost didn't happen after the merger and breakaway the year , but gentleman like yourself and others have made this organization prosper, grow and be respected into what the league is today. Congratulations to Team Muertos on a successful season and look forward to seeing all of you in SnoFlake. Thanks again for the kind words. RR
To Richie and the Qsla staff
Thank you for a great season and expierence. I am sure that not only myself but the Muertos Family as well can share in the sentiment. Yes there were times we wanted to string up the Umpires and beat them with sticks , but over all I would not change them for any others as they shared the good and the bad times with us in good and bad weather . Richie you and your staff have taken this league from a league that was about to close its doors {after the RSC merge and then breaking away} and turned it into a League that has grown to be recognized and respected . Thank You all for the efforts and time that go into this each and every day we go and take the field .
To all the teams in the C division and teams we had the opportunity to play aginst in the upper divisions thank you for your sportsmanship and quality of play thank you as well for a great season good luck going forward
Peter #34 Muertos Nation....
Thanks for the kind words. Real proud of everything your guys accomplished in 2013. "No slouchers" with the 46ers. Your guys played hard against the defending champs and made them earn entry to the Semis. A few of you have set allstar game records for your contribution in the QLSA game and commissioners game. I also believe that some individual season records were broken. I truly appreciated all the hard work you put into the league and especially taking time away from your lunch hour to see to it that all working Saturday detail at Whitey had fluids that hot day, even if you stayed for 10 minutes!!!! Without the leadership qualities you displayed, and buying into a system that is not EZ to conform to coming from an outside league, I take my hat off to you as you were the glue that held it together for the 46ers. Other umpires agreed it was always a pleasure to officiate your games. Though I had you less than a handful this season, I concur on the class act of Flushing. We welcome you back for fall ball and hope that this relationship forms a strong bond to this league. It is individuals like you and your players that makes the QLSA what it is today. Again thanks for having faith in me and the league and selecting to play here. RTR
